I know the power lock issue has been asked about several times, believe me I've looked high and low. I haven't been able to find any threads that specifically outline the issue I'm having.
That being said. I can't get my driver door to unlock electronically (key fob, rocker button, hatch) but it will unlock mechanically from the driver door with the key or opening the handle from inside (so it's not jammed/stuck). When I put my ear to the door when using the rocker switch, I can hear it actuate to lock but I don't hear anything when unlocking.
For the record, I have already had the door apart, took the latch assembly out, and replaced the 12v motor inside just to cover my bases.
This leads me to believe it is an electrical issue beyond the actuator motor. Now my question is, would it be advantageous to try replacing the whole latch assembly, or do I just need to start the arduous task of tracing wires to see if something broke in the door loom?
