So I started swapping out the suspension of my 98 4Runner. I started at the rear because I heard how much of a PITA is was to get to and break loose the top bolt. I actually did fine at that end. Just used lock jaw pliers and extended socket. However I stripped the bolt on the lower mount when I reinstalled the new shock:doh:. Should I just go to the dealer to get a new bolt, or go to a place like OSH to find a suitable replacement? If I can do the latter choice, does anyone know the size, length, and thread pitch of the bolt?
Thanks in advance. Too much force has always been my downfall.
