4Runner started shacking abnormally. I had gone 230 miles on a tank. Filled it up with fuel ASAP. Drank 14 gallons. Drove 100 yards shaking got more violent, check engine light came on! What do I do!!

It's probably a spark plug messing with one of the cylinders. Same thing happened to me.

Coil, injector are two guesses. But get the code first.

Describe shaking. Does it shake while idleing or while driving or while braking. We need more info. What makes it better? What makes it worse?

Sorry to hear about this.
Shaking likely means that you are missing / misfiring in at least one CLY.
Given your past coolant issues, I would be concerned they had come back to cause problems again.

Even with one cylinder misfiring, it still should drive? I had a bad coilpack on my 3zvfe and it was shaking bad but still made it home? Or does the OP have the 4cyl?

I have a 3.4 V6. Shakes as long as engine is on.

Pull codes and I'll bet its a fuel inector. Shakes like crazy, check engine comes on, sometimes off, struggles to accelerate. Probably a P030x Misfire code. You can limp it home at a 15mph coast speed but not for very long. The cylinder is running dry without fuel. If you have a long drive ahead, have it towed. See if you can get a parts store to check your codes though.
