why are you using tape? u suppose to use heat shrink, if u want to be strong, do double layer on the heat shrink.
Help! Tail Fuse keeps popping and now it sparks!

glad you got it fixed. electrical tape should be fine under the dash.
Bad connector
I've got a 1992 4runner that had some corrosion in the tail light connector that ruined the connection to the running light. One of the terminals stayed in the female end when I pulled apart the connector. Turns out the connector that is on the bulb side has been discontinued. I ordered one for a 1993 and the connectors are different. Can i source the female end and fab it in or should I just cut the wires and directly connect them?
