Help with Part Number: Hood Seal Nearest Windshield

Trying to locate the part number for the hood seal nearest to windshield for a 2007 (4th gen) 4runner, 6-cyl, 2WD, Limited. I am referring to the strip of rubber that goes left-to-right (hinge-to-hinge) and is seated on the body of car that the hood closes down on to seal out weather and etc.

It didn't seem necessary, but I can post a pic if that helps?

I think you want the rubber seal that goes on the Louver, Cowl Top Ventilator. I don't see that as a separate item but I'm sure it's there somewhere. i found a site for car restorations and they called it "Firewall to Hood Seal - Cowl Lacing", but no listing for any late model cars. On the Toyota site I can find the Louver, Cowl Top Ventilator and I think the picture shows the seal, but no part number.

You can probably get the number and a price from your local Toyota dealership. Just tell them it's the rubber strip between the cowling and hood.

They both say they are for a Sienna. I thought you wanted it for your 4Runner

I found this Toyota part number and it says it's for a 4Runner but when I put in your vehicle it says it may not fit. I still think you should call your local Toyota shop and have them verify the part number. Most of these dealers will ship it to you or offer free pickup at the dealership
