Help with picking a mechanical buffer/polisher

I agree, it's where I get all my supplies.

I liked their site how they had detailed descriptions of how products work and are used, instead of like some how they just showed a picture of the product.

Plus I'm always leery of using sites that I'm new to online, when I took a vacation to Florida earlier this year I actually drove past Autogeek's warehouse that was down the Florida Turnpike, so that makes me feel better about picking a place to buy from.

Autogeek is a great retailer in my book. I searched around for a Flex dealer, came across a few, but either they cost more in the end after shipping or they charged more outright for the Flex.

Exactly, Autogeek has tutorials on what to do and what the recommended products are. Their prices are cheaper than most, if not fair, an item or two may cost more, but overall the total bill is cheaper when ordering a lot of items. They have coupons frequently too.

If you ever have questions, try their live chat or leave them an email. Their staff is very knowledgeable and prompt with replies too.

Total Christmas Day! I wanted the banner, but that wasn't a part of the promo when I first ordered.

I bought the same DP pad cleaner. That stuff is amazing, I had no problems with it even removing wax from older applicators that I did a poor job of cleaning previously.

Glad to hear about the pad cleaner! Good choice then.

I didn't think I would get the banner, as my "final" total was below $500 but my before discount was above $500.

Maybe Sunday will be the day to detail my truck.

Either find a good quality detailer and not one who's going to tell you they can take out scratches with a wax. Or do as I did and get a Porter Cable DA polisher.

Anyone else?

You can try something like Meguiar's Scratch-X and see if that gets rid of it.

What did you use with the Flex for the Corian? Being able to clean up my Corian in addition to the cars and boat might just be enough to convince me to drop the cash on the Flex. A professional I used to work with told me I should wet sand but I don't have a good enough air compressor.

I wanna know too Koz. Makes the Flex investment even better than just only for the paint finishes.
