Need some assistance with my drivers powered seat in my 2008 4R Sport V6.
Just started to make this gawd awful squealing noise when moving it forward and backwards only. It is also intermittent.
I was taking a closer look at it and try to grease it to see if it would stop the noise, but then noticed it wasn't moving fwd or back. All other function in the seat works. It seems after waiting a bit I could move the seat some until I got it back to where I want it.
Now I am afraid to touch it in case the motor is going and I won't be able to move it anymore.
Anyone ever experience this? Is the squealing noise caused by corrosion in the mechanism and making it bind up? Or is the motor going?
Any help would be appreciated. TIA
