Help with Running board lights

Hello all,
We recently purchased an 04 T4R LTD (4.0/Auto), the passenger side running board lights work, but the drivers side do not. Looked into it this weekend, here's what I found with the drivers side running board lights:
**Front and Back RB lights are really rusted (Any ideas where to get replacement light assemblies and screws?)
** Also need 1 replacement light bulb socket (one was severely corroded and needs to be replaced).

Are there other options I can consider to get the running board lights working again?

for a factory replacement your options are limited as you can either scrapyard it, dealer it, or try rockauto one of the online parts vendors that sponsor the forum..

for aftermarket solutions I always though it'd make more sense to use LED strips on the small vertical face using the existing power and ground wires (I believe this comes down through the floor in the middle of the board.. you could adhere two strips, one forward and one aft from the center) and this way it wouldn't be subject to the corrosive environment of the street and would provide better lighting to the running board surface.

Thanks for the input, the alternative solution (LED strips) may make the most sense, the light assemblies are severely rusted (safety glasses a must).
