It doesnt take a genius to look at the trip odometer and see that I am going more miles between fillups.

I was thinking :wtf:, how can a can of snake-oil generate this much fuss (based on the number of replies). On my 12k miles V6 it can't possibly make any difference. (I am one of the people who had the patience with Premium fuel and enjoy the benefits.) Being both curious and lazy I followed Falls suggestion and ran a bottle of SeaFoam mixed with a full tank.Falls said:
My T4R actually feels smoother and has a touch better throttle response. My butt-o-meter has the gain in the neighborhood of a fresh oil change and a new air filter. Most will agree that immediately after an oil change and fresh air filter it 'feels' better. :bigok:
The MPG seems to up by about .5mpg on the lie-o-meter.
I have used SeaFoam for outboards, old carb'd junkers etc. I can't believe that my clean burning, almost new T4R responded so well... IMHO

I did the upper engine cleaner on my V8 recently but didn't mess with vacuum lines. I put it directly in the intake an inch or two from the throttle body (after the MAF, not into the filter box or between the box and the MAF/engine - the one directly into the top of the engine right in front of the throttle body, don't let this stuff pass over MAF), put the intake hose back on loosely over the little seafoam straw, kept it around 1500-2000 RPM's and white-smoked the hell out of my neighborhood, it was glorious.
Not that I'd be stupid enough to do this.......but hold onto the bottle tightly. It takes several minutes of holding the spray can, you'll probably need to switch hands, and only an idiot...like me... would drop the can into the way of the radiator fan. Somehow, no damage but what a noise. My stupidity is your knowledge. You'll probably want to undo the two bolts holding the silver engine cover and get it out of the way, then just undo the hose clamp for the main 3"is hose, slide the seafoam hose in there, slide intake hose back on, start engine & hold 1,500-2k rpm, and spray spray spray. I first attempted right where you are pointing in the above pict and I didnt see any hesitation or smoke. Used the bent straw and emptied maybe 1/5 of the bottle. Then I went through the pcv hose and saw results. So strange.
