help with sliders please

Im about to order some Trail Gear sliders from Summit. But Trails Gear's site says they are for 2nd gens but Wheelers Off Road has them in their 3rd gen section and 2nd gen section. I woukd not think it matters and they will fit my 3rd gen since they are wield on. I am also getting the mou ting kit from Trail Gear. Any help would be great. Thanks.

All I know is that the ones that fit 3rd gens are 67" long.
I have the Trail Gear also, got them from Addicted Offroad.

Buy some denatured alcohol to wipe the grease off that they are covered in.

I used 2 cans each of Rustoleum Primer and "Professional High Performance Paint".
Use "strips" of cloth backed sandpaper and sand what is needed like you are shining a shoe.
then I topped each slider with Non Slip Tape which works great and is tough as nails.

Yep just ordered the same ones from summit racing only $8.00 shipping and order ed d the mounting brackets direct from Trail Gear on sale for black friday at $18.50 $29.50 after shipping. Cant wait to get them. So glad i waiting and researched a little more jump a few minutes ago. I was going to order the 58"sliders as per the websites' listing for the 4runners. 67" on the way. I plan to use the sliders as steps as well so was planningnon the grip tape same as you did. Being rock proof and added armor is just an added plus for me i wheel but dont crazy rock climb.
