Just got my 2022 4runner yesterday. Lovely truck she is. Only problem is when i get out of the vehicle while its running it beeps 5-6 times. How do I disable that? Thanks

NO its a push button so no key. I’m pretty sure the key fob was in the truck last time it went haywire. I’ll pay attention next time and see if it does it. Also does the sr5 have remote start?

The 2022 has a smart key (push button start).
I doubt it, but the specs page on the Toyota web site will tell you for sure: 2022 Toyota 4Runner Specs & Options

You must be new to cars with push button start. All push button start cars beep when you walk away because the government doesn't trust people to turn off the engine.

My wife had a 2020 Equinox for a few months and it would shut the motor off after 15 minutes or so if the fob wasn't in the car.
I hear ya! I have a 2021 push-button start and like to keep the fob in my pocket (the reason behind push button start + no keys + security) but that 6 beep for any door while engine is running is annoying.
The solution to fix this is not Carista because that function was not offered as one to adjust. Not every car with a push button start does this...but ours do. What's extra annoying is that we don't have auto-on headlights or blind spot monitoring but we do get 6 flipping beeps when I use the fob as it was designed.
Let me know if you find a solution.
