Help!

I have a 97 V6 5 speed 4X4 that's acting funny.

When I give the slightest bit of gas, mainly when in traffic or cruising on the freeway, it stutters horribly. It's as if it's not getting spark or fuel, and if I give more gas, it's fine. It's only when I am barely pressing the gas pedal, but that is the majority of my driving style. I'm no lead foot. Any idea what this might be?

Had a similar issue. It was my spark plugs.

When was your last tune-up? Plugs, throttle body cleaning, MAF cleaning, air filter. Always a good place to start.

New plugs and wires 6 months ago. Check engine light was throwing a O2 sensor code - changed it. New fuel filter last week. Air filter is clean. I'll look into the MAF.
