Help!!!

I replaced my blend door actuator and for some odd reason the car will click but wont start. Battery been charged, jump start, clean battery terminal, unplugged battery and still nothing. Please help.

The only thing I can think of is this?.?.? I dont know what it is. Is it suppose to just hang there?

Thus is for an 04 4runner v8. That 4 pin connector is on the right side of the glove box. I can find anything that its suppose to hook up to and i dont remember unplugging it.

The connector in your picture could be for an option that your truck didn't come with, right? There should be an obvious place to plug it in.

Is it clicking like a dead battery or cranking, but just not starting?

Check the fuses and relays. Maybe popped the main

Not like a dead battery. This is like a normal click, engine turns over but won't start.

All fused has been check. Non is blown. Maybe bad starter? :llama::ybrick::ybrick::ybrick::frusty::frusty:

Sounds like the immobilizer has kicked in if engine cranks but doesn't start.

Right side of the glove box is the ecm and that uses similar colored connectors. Not certain that's what it is, just throwing out a suggestion.

Ok. I decided to start square 1 and replace my battery. Low and behold it was the battery. I figured if it wasnt the battery then Ill move onto the starter. Luck was on my side. Start with your battery guys if it doesn't want to start. Even having someone trying to jump start you wont work.

If you're ever not sure, you can take it to O'Reilly's and they will test it for you. I had that happen with my last battery, jumping it didn't work so I had O'Reilly's test it before I bought a new one.
