I am on the road and my low tire pressure Gage is blinking. Never seen it blink before. Anyone know why?

I'm assuming you are equipped with TPMS which means it is sensing one of your tire pressures is too low. (below 26-28psi or there abouts) Check pressures and inflate where necessary. Don't forget to check the spare.

Ok so I feel really stupid but I figured it out. I got new wheels and tires about a month ago (no TPMS sensors). This did not occur to me as the problem because it took nearly a month for the low tire pressure light to come on.

So now my question is.. is there any way to disable it? I am not a fan of having lights on on my dash (or paying out the ass for a set of TPMS sensors).

some guys leave the old wheels/tires in the garage or near where they park & it resets over night, it goes on after about an hr. of driving or after driving a certain # of miles.

Good idea but my stock wheels and tires are at my parents house. No storage in apartment :dammit:

how about just popping out the fuse and see if it works. my light has been on for a few months and is driving me nuts. I know all 5 of my tires are at 35psi.

I thought about that but didn't think it would have its OWN fuse. I'll check that out though. Hope it does. It is really pissing me off
