Ric, didn't you use to believe what that magazine stated?? I don't see it as a joke...more rather as your sad attempt at confirming what you "believe." At least, now you know that some other village idiot actually has the same thought as you. Congrats...go get em tiger!

In fact, you have REPEATEDLY stated this opinion about Obama on this forum (and god knows where else)...you actually believe this crap, don't you?!

Hey, i am as Republican as the next guy, but your thought process is mind-boggling...and downright scary for a person who can type two words without drooling! Damn man, this and your clear obscession with gay websites are downright weird! :( Do you wear an ankle monitor? Should the school bus make a detour? Just questions that any concerning parent would want to know.

I don't care about the little tiff going on here, but do you think that since the government says he's legit, then he is and that's that - no proof or verification needed because the government would never lie or change documents or records to push their agenda?

You may be totally correct that Obama was born in Hawaii and maybe he didn't attend Occidental College as a foreign exchange student, and maybe he wasn't named Barry Soetoro, and maybe he didn't attend muslim school in Indonesia in his youth. But to rule out the chance of that stuff being all or partially true because what you've been told by the media, well that's just as scary to me as believing it all whole-heartedly.

Example.. Lots of good, moral German citizens strongly defended Hitler during WWII because propaganda lead them to believe that what the 3rd Reich was doing was moral and just. Then these people found out after the war that he had murdered millions in the name of ethnic cleansing. Now I'm definitely not comparing Obama to a murdering war monger like Hitler by any means. However, I am comparing how the media and the use of propaganda can sway the public opinion any which way they want.

The fact that there's any doubt whatsoever should be enough for "we the people" to have the right to confirm or dispell these accusations quickly and efficiently - but there is absolutely no good reason why we should still be wondering 2 years into his presidency with official documents sealed.

Unless you think that somehow, a black kid from nowhere seemingly has gotten hold of CIA, FBI, national whatever security and force them to disregard his "true" birthplace...and somehow everyone is in on the conspiracy (with no leaking...amazing in this day and age!)...and now we have President Obama, highest office in the land, most powerful man on the planet.

Hey, i am all for conspiracy theory...and yes, i am a diehard Republican, but you guys are on some nutwack drugs...hmm, maybe i will have what Ric is having...oh wait, no thanks, i am straight. :D

Actually, if you read the thread above, then you will see that Ric is NOT joking when he posted this...he actually believes this wholeheartedly. I am not kidding you. In fact, do a search on the forum and you will see that Ric has mentioned his "theory" multiple times without question! :nono:
 
Just to clarify, I don't believe the rumors and sometimes I wish I was on some crazy drugs, but I too am straight. I was just saying that you can't believe or defend either side because we are all totally in the dark whether we admit it or not.

I agree that it's a stretch to think that all these officials are in on it and were paid off or whatever, but it's not out of the question to think that some of our government (including the Obama administration) would like to see our constitution take a back seat to UN laws. If they didn't then we wouldn't have ideas like the NAU on the horizion. And if Obama really has that special something to get the country behind this train of thought, then I do believe the government is capable of changing facts to put whoever in office that they think will be successful at leading or swaying the public view.

Do I like Obama and the changes he's made so far? No. Do I believe that people in power could have looked the other way regarding certain facts so someone with their specialized agenda could be nominated? Possibly. That's all I'm saying, the government has the power to fool all of us whenever they want to.
