cover the north side of big bear...

fawnskin, etc etc. there's plenty of trails on that side of the mountain that you'll enjoy. plenty of area to cover for the stock rigs so don't worry.

when i get home, i'll look for some maps of bear that i have that has trail rating(s) on it and i'll email you mark.

What I have listed on that side of BB is

Holcomb Creek - too difficult for our group
Butler Creek - easy but short
John Bull - difficult
Jacoby Canyon - moderate but short
Gold Mountain - difficult

Hope you can suggest something suitable.

Otherwise we need to switch venues quickly and Hungry Valley looks good although I have no knowledge about that area at all.
Maybe RXvedub could trail-lead this if he's been there. I guess you have been there too Lance?

Everything you list there will be very challenging on a stock rig. Anything is possible but I'd say not recommended for stock (unless you don't mind coming back w/ some nice Big Bear scars).

The map that I have will list the difficulty level so you can take a look at that tonight and see which trails best suit you.

I will be at Starbucks at 9am if anyone wants to meet up.

From there me and the family will head up to the Northern side of Big Bear and check out the trails that Lance has sent me a map of.

SHIT! I was looking forward to it. SB huh? I am their 90% of the time lately. Just drove back from there today! FOR THE DAMN MEET IN BIG BEAR! Just Kidding. I came to the OC for Mother's Day. Sorry everything didn't work out this time. I'll try to be more involved next time and maybe we can setup that parking lot meet.

I guess so, but don't know when the next trip will be. I sure won't organise another one...its too difficult to get confirmed attendances to provide time for planning.

I think I'll just travel with the YT guys. They are more into off-road stuff than here at T4R.

Bad luck - I was hoping to check out your rig. Maybe one day someone will try again for a carpark meet which we can catch up at.
