Just thought I'd say hello.
I borrowed my sisters 2000 4Runner SR5 4x4 about a year ago after totaling my car. It was an extra vehicle she wasn't driving.
I intended on buying another car but a year later, I'm still driving the 4Runner.
So about 2 weeks ago I decided to buy it from her. She bought it new and has always taken great care of it. It had 175K on it a year ago. Now it has 189K.
I gave her $5,000 for it
I've seen some pretty cool rides on here and got some great ideas.
I tinted the windows myself a tear ago....
I grabbed a Scion T1806 radio and iPod cable from eBay.
Today I put some new front pads and rotors on, painted the calipers, and drums black, and then started going a little crazy with the Plasti-Dip spray. (Wheels, front bumper and grill so far)
I'm trying to read up on the best way to lift the truck. I probably won't go off road because I'm really not interested but I do like the way the look a bit higher.
I'm thinking a 3in suspension of some sort and a 1in body. 31's or 33's for tires and some different black wheels.
