Hey guys I am looking into to these and notice that there are so many different types. What would be the best the most practical and smartest one to get? What length? What do you have on your rig?

Yes, the real "Hi-lifts" are the best. I have a 48" and it's plenty tall. I got mine for <$80 shipped on ebay:

Hi-Lifts *can* be very dangerous, and so when I invest in one, I intend to get a Hi-Lift brand one. I just don't want to take chances with a knock off for something that crucial (which it can be in some situations). Just my thoughts, sorry I don't have more info for you on configurations or lengths (heights?).

Well thanks guys, I was only looking at hi-lift brand to begin with, they just have three different models of jacks that are all the same style. By unanimous vote it seems that the red (all-cast) 48" would be the best choice. Now does anyone know where I can get a good deal on one of those as well as the bajarack mounting brackets?

I already posted the ebay ad, which is a good deal. You can get the steel/cast for $10 less or the Xtreme for ~$10 more. They're all the same strength, the all cast just lasts longer. Don't know about the bajarack brackets, try bajarack.

Thanks man for the info, with the brackets I just didn't want to have to pay bajarack $50 for two small brackets and was just seeing if anyone knew where to find them for cheaper.

Well yea I would get the actual Hi-lift and actual brackets. I just wanted to find it for a lower price than right from the company.
