Hi,

I want to purchase HID for my 08 4runner and I want to know if I choose ddm tuning if I need error eliminator or adapter cabler or hid harness ?? I search but I don't find answer.

should go with raptor ballast or ddm slim ballast ?

I think to purchase 35w 5000k h11 (low beam) and 35w 4500k 9006 (fogs)
what do you think ? should I go with 55w ? should go with fogs more yellow ?

should I need mounting bracket ? they comes with the kit ??

sorry for the lots of questions :)

I need your advice !

thanks !

No, you don't need the error code thing.

The slim ballasts are easier to mount.

And 55w is too much for the fogs.

Literally everything you asked could have been searched. Good luck!

Like stated above u wont need that silly crap error thing n yes on the slim. I highly recommend 55w 43k low beam h11. 35w n the fogs n keep in mind n e thing lower than 43k is 3k n that's amber. Idk what look u r going for but i would not go n e higher than 43k in the fogs. 43k has the highest producing white light. Now i need not explain why the wattage difference. Common sense will figure that out.. Enjoy n feel free to let us know what u get n post some pics!!!!!!!!

ok thanks but 55w it's not too much for the low beam (h11) ??

I don't see 43k on the ddm tuning website

They don't have 4300K on there, unfortunately. 55W is fine for low beams, but NOT fogs. You will only need 35W for the fogs (I have the 35W fogs and am very happy).
I went with 5000K on fogs and it works fine. You should be good, also be sure to get the slim ballast.

I order 55w 5000k but I change it for 35w 5000 for the low beam.
I don't know if i make a good move, it's just for the outcoming traffic

35w it's enough ? or I should stay with the 55w ??

thanks !!

I have 55 w 8000k. 55w is too bright for low beams. I put 35w 6000k in my wifes truck and I wish I had that in mine.

Does anyone have a 55w vs. 35w picture? Or at least someone with a 35w and someone with a 55w, same temps? I've used 35w in my old car, but always thought about getting 55w.

i'd stick with 4300K Philips bulbs all day long. everything else is just playing games.

i also recommend calling steve @ xenon depot. he makes the best aftermarket kits. just make sure again that you pick up the Philips bulbs and not the gray market kind.

35w kits are fine for everyone, but 55w is about a 20-30% increase and colors start to change. if u want something better you can always retro a true hid projectors, i was a pnp like some before retros, big difference in lighting. i know alot of people on here hates me when i say retro.
