Not to ask a stupid question, but what do I do for the high beams? Does that even exist?

high beams is a dual hid or something like that its on their website.

You could replace your high beams also, but they do not recommend doing this due to the fact that

1) it takes a few seconds to heat up and work at the maximum level, so it would not be good for a light turning on and off frequently

2) turning on and off frequently is what limits your hid's lifespan, so flashing your high beams at someone will be very hard on the setup

Basically, leave them as is, or upgrade to a better bulb, but not HID
 
I'd like to be in. But are they easy to install? Looked complicated with the picture of the kit. And will they last a long time. Does anyone know if there have been any issues with these in the past?
 
3k or 6K????? Someone posted a complaint that the yellow from his fog lights drowned his 4k HID from his low beams. Ugh, now I'm having second thoughts. I think I might have to go with 6k to match my headlights!!

any thoughts?

Same predicament here. I liked that color combo but I'll probably be going with 6 or 8 k for both. (still not sure if im getting 2 though)


We're at 13 now with MASON DIXON

only 2 more!

4.3k H11 for headlights
and
4.3k 9006 for fogs

edit: I'm noticing they dont sell 5k lights on their site. Only 4300 or 6k.

i didnt go w. the matching lights cause...i was afraid they...well wouldnt match. the housing size and output and bulb size are all different which all changes the color of the lights..enough so i would notice. that what drives me nuts about factory cars that have HID's but regular fogs..they dont match. so IMO if i cant get an exact match i wanted to go with two completly different colors so there would be no confusion that i was trying to match. plus the yellow just reflects a ton better off of snow and in foggy conditions.

i do not drive w. my fog lights on enough to care they drown out the headlights...the color combo and look and functionality is what i was going more for. and i achieved it.

my two cents.
 
Noticed that just about everyone in this thread seems to have 06+.

I know this will fit the 03-05 models, but any idea how much the HID look will be impacted, as they do not have the projectors like the newer models?

they will still be a huge improvement over stock lights. i had a 3rd gen with HIDs in it and the driving was night/day from halogen. just with the non projector lights you lose some more light inside the housing instead of it...well being projected. its still worth the upgrade hands down.
