Alright, I'll get my friend to send the payment tomorrow, he was going to do it today, but didn't get around to it.
 
Fo_Sheezy...so you didn't order the wiring harness and you've never had a problem with it? How long have you had the HID's in your 4runner?

I had HID's in my 02 4Runner for over a year, and they worked fine. Sold them to a friend who has a Civic and they are still working good. You really don't need a wiring harness, everything you need comes with it.
 
Thanks for the info. I feel more comfortable about it now. I just didn't want to attach anything to battery directly. At least I think that's what was being mentioned earlier with that extra wiring harness. But Fo_Sheezy, why did you take them out of your 4runner?
 
so do we know how many more people we are waiting for?

why can't they just ship the guys kits who have already paid...?
 
I recently emailed GotHidkit.com asking them is it necessary to buy that relay wiring harness and is there any danger to the vehicle if you did not install it with the HID kit. This was there response:

"You are ordering single beam kit. there is not need to use a relay harness.We just sell them for Dual beam that does the switch to hi/lo . We soldhundreds of s kits without the relay harness for the single beam and neverhad a complain. Some cars though might need because of the computer theyhave inside..Our kits are 99% compatible with the auto market. -GotHID?"

I feel more reassured about not getting the relay harness. Just wanted to pass this on so you guys would be better informed regarding this decision.

I hope everyone else agrees that to wait a few extra days for a sweet deal like this is worth it! Remember that when you get a deal sometimes you sacrifice something.

After multiple e-mails to them, I have recieved no response (they obviously don't care about CS). I ordered the kit from Retro-Solutions, and got SUPER fast shipping, and a smooth, awesome fit! IMHO, the gothidkit.com kit was CRAP.

I hope this is isolated to my kit, but check yours out when you all get them... There should be NO resistance when trying to swap the HID's into the housings, as they should slide right in and rotate into locked position easily. The gothidkit.com kit DID not, as the tines were poorly molded and clearly not to factory specs.
