"The reason we did not contact some people in the the group buy is because we didnt want to generate more overhead. We are in contact with the Forum admin and we told him that we would ship all the kits upon everyone's payment and we are working on it right now. We didnt receive all the payments until last week.
Please advise and let the forum users to know about it.

sounds like a load of BS... How does sending out a few e-mails to CUSTOMERS generate overhead?

I feel more reassured about not getting the relay harness. Just wanted to pass this on so you guys would be better informed regarding this decision.

Well, I sent a extra payment thinking i would need the harness(wanted to sent money fast as not to hold up anything) I just sent gohidkit a pm to cancel the harness and refund the $25. Hopefully he gets it before he starts sending the kits out.

So what did you do with your kit? Did you send it back? Did you get your money back? How much was your kit from retro solutions?

Any confirmation from any of the Forum Admins that they have been contacted?
 
Guys don't worry, it's different when were doing a group buy, they have to wait until they get everyon's payment before they ship. And trust me the kits are good quality, I like mine. Once they ship, they'll get here pretty quick.

I still have it, GotHIDkit.com will not respond to my e-mails.... In fact, they are blatantly ignoring them (probably trying not to "generate overhead"). I paid $145 for my H11 kit from retro solutions, and its the "digital," which means nothing except they cover the bulbs and ballasts for life, not just a year. They are 55w, and bright as all get out. I called them before ordering, and they were more than helpful with all my questions.

Guys, I emailed them and they responded the same day. All they want is for the order to be complete. So the delay was from us, not them. If we all ordered our kits, we could have had them already. So are in the process of getting the order complete

I contacted them again and they almost responded immediately, again! Please read below and share with others.

Dear Sir,
thanks for the email . We already answered those questions for some forum members but we believe they forgot to share and here goes again and the Forum Admin George D , is aware of it.
1) Did you receive all the orders? Yes , last week we got them all , we could not ship if we couldnt get all of them as agreed. Everybody basically is getting almost $30 off the retail price and we could only comply if everybody pays.
2) If so, when will you ship the kits? Starting from today/tomorrow customers will be emailed with tracking numbers
3) if not, what will happen next? Everybody will receive their kits , if within 3 days you do not get any tracking number please let us know.
What happened was that we received a list with address and kits , so when we received the payment we had to compare against our list and 40% of those were either different address and kits or forgot to put an address. So we had to double check the list.
It is tough for us coordinate with 20 customers , rather then just one which is the forum admin. Please share with the forum users.
Let us know if you have any other question.

No problem. i felt that we were kept in the dark. No one was giving us solid info. Others were making me more worried with their posts.

Now we know what to expect. An email with tracking numbers today or tomorrow
