Got my HID kit today for 9006 - 5000K (fogs) from GotHID...No issues, no problems, perfect fit.....I don't know, maybe I got lucky;):
 
I mailed my kit back today. I was unimpressed by the flimsy quality of the the product. It didn't seem durable and I could find no way to mount the balasts so that they would stand up to the kind of off roading that I do.

:iagree: can definitely vouch for XD without hesitation. I've ordered three kits from them in the past and never a hickup with the order. It's buttery smooth doing business with XD.

I installed my 9006 4300k and 3000k in my 05 runner and everything seems fine. Installed the ballast up out of the way so the water doesn't affect them and i'm impressed with the light output. I also put a set on my 750 bruteforce and WOW what a difference. I just hope they last.:driving:
 
Got mine a few days ago, I really dont have the money to get better ones (from what I hear) so I decided to give them a shot. Installed a set of 10000K in the fogs (DAMN the factory bulbs were a pain in the ass getting out) and a set of 6000K for my low beams. I mounted both ballasts up behind the headlight housing. The driver side in-between the headlight and the batter and the passenger side in a vacant spot next to my K&N CAI.

Maybe I am lucky, but the have been working great (knock on wood). The low beams in 6000K produce an extremely sharp and bright white light with a very very minor blue tint. The fogs in 10000K produce a bit of a pail blue but are no means as dark as fo's QB blue. Cut off is similar to stock lights, with very little scattered light which is weird bc thats usually typically of after market HIDs.

I just received my refund into my paypal account. Luckily I'm all done with this experience with GotHidkit.com. I didn't have much of a problem getting the refund but it would have been nice if these kits were good quality. I never received the kits because I cancelled the order before they sent them out due to the bad reports everyone was giving on this site. I'll maybe try XenonDepot or something. Does anyone want to tell me their experience with XD?

I have always heard great things about them, I regret all this BS with GotHID?

I had a great experience buying from XenonDepot, just like many here and on other forums. There are several threads with 2006 owners posting their XenonDepot installs. Do a search for XenonDepot on other forums and they will have just as many happy customers there as they do here. XenonDepot's been around since early 2000s. I remember I wanted one of their kits for my crappy car when HID kits were $1000. (Losing my highbeams because it was a 9004 setup is what stopped me.)

I've purchased three kits from XenonDepot, two for myself another one for a friend. Each and every purchase has been smooth and hassle free. You'll get the kit within a week, and this includes the time that it's in Customs for US based customers. XD are complete kits with everything you need, including wiring harnesses.

I don't work for XenonDepot nor have any affliation with them other than being a highly satisfied customer three times and counting.

Here's my thread of my 4300k XD kit and a 4Runner with stock halogens.
 
Has anyone not received their kit yet? I got an email from them on 8/20 indicating a 2-week delay. Its been over 3 weeks, no correspondence. I sent a follow up email Sunday night.
