its the ballasts, i think thats what its called.
its the little metal box that goes on both sides. i just need to fasten it now. but how?

i used double sided 3m sticky tape, some have built brackets.
but check out this thread i have pics of how i mounted mine and others have how they mounted theirs too. i think it starts at about page 11

Oh, I got confused with that name. I always refer to them as ballasts.
Just use zip ties or double sided tape. It doesn't really matter where you put them.

I got the 55W 4500 DDMtuning HIDs and they are amazing!
My passenger side ballast is still just laying on the fender behind the air box. I took my junk up a trail to the top of one of the local mtns here hoping the ballast flopping around would beat the POS into working. Looks like I'm the only lucky one to get a bad ballast (have to cycle the switch around 4 times to get it to light) and that truly took my faith in these lights away. I haven't decided yet what I'm gonna do, but I'll probably end up with a set of silver star ultra's like I have in my wife's Tahoe. I really like them personally.

dang big john that sucks to hear that, are you going to use the warranty? i would hope it couldn't happen twice??
Honestly, if DDM will take them back I'm probably just going to let them have em. Scotty is having problems with his as well so I'll give him my good ballast and send back the two junk one's. The silver star ultra's will work fine for me and it's one less thing to have problems with.
