HID kit installed but low beams not working

Hey all, Before i get bashed on, im new to these forums and still getting used to it. so please go easy on me.

So i just got my set of Hid's and did the install today, pretty much plug and play. But what got me was when I turned my lights on, my low beams or DRL wernt working, BUT my high beams worked just fine (HID turned on with high beams). Im not sure if the DRL are supposed to be running at a lower voltage when on but I'm more worried of the fact that my low beams dont work. :shrug:

Im pretty sure I ordered the right set

Ive searched on here and online and have seen some input but nothing really in depth.

98 4runner
9003 hid 35 watts
hid's with the 2 prong connectors (stock bulbs has three holes to plug prong into)

your help would be appreciated

looks pretty straight forward..if I disable the DRL, will it allow the HID's to work on low beam?

Yup it should hopefully fix it. There are some guys who have had problems with only one light working, and they disable their DSL's and prob solved. Regardless the DSL's will shorten the lifespan of your HID's anyway.

Ok I'll give it a shot in tomorrow, hopefully that solves it..thanks for the quick input.
