HID question? Is this normal?

I tried swapping with the original o rings still the same issue .
The o rings that came with seem like they fit in really well , seems like the headlights on the 4Runner arnt mounted totally solid so that could be the problem, not much that can be done about that . Xenon depot told me its just the sharp cutoff and brighter light that I’m noticing it . It is kinda annoying I’m thinking about going to better halogen bulb .

Good to know. I've just attributed it to the fact that the xenon bulbs are inherently longer, so any movement of the bulb will be more apparent than with a shorter bulb. I've been putting off the o-ring swap cause I've got a dual battery system and it's really tight in there. I may still try it but we'll see, you're kind of confirming what I already figured. I do like to follow through with what manufacturers recommend though.

It looks like you're in a 2014+. I will say that I just went from Sylvania SilverStar Ultra's in my 2016 to XenonDepot HID's and there's a huge difference in output, I wasn't sure at first but in all reality my Hella fog's were providing the majority of my driving light before the swap and now I only use the fogs in weather (go figure). If you were local to me I'd let you try them out.. just letting you know my experience.

Edit: Sylvania SilverStar Ultra being the brightest halogen bulbs I could find for our trucks.

I had this issue on a Kia that I installed a HID kit on. Checked everything, turned out the wiring harness manufacturer used really cheap hardware. The ground connection was poorly crimped and was shaking loose. This also gave me all kinds of fits on the sensors.
