High Output Alternator

I don't know for certain about any changes in 2018 and beyond,
but I do recall a few years ago some folks has issues with blowing the main 140A fuse, which is a bugger to replace.
Some of the folks who shared their experience had installed a high-output alternator.
The desire for a HO alternator disappeared for me after reading a couple of those threads and shared experiences. There were certainly fewer HO alternator threads in the short while after that.
--again, not saying something changed, but they did appear to become a less popular mod relatively quickly
