I have a 97 SR5 with close to 190,000 miles. Aside from general maintenance the only big thing I have done is the Tundra brake upgrade.
As of Sun, my front end has started to make a fast, high pitched noise (almost like a dentist drill), and usually after hitting some form of bump in the road. The noise stops for two reasons, I hit a bump (but then I instantly hit another and the noise comes back), and when I touch the brake pedal.
Obviously I am pretty sure it is coming from my brake/brakes, but if it doesn't make the sound when I am stopped how can I find what is making this noise? Are there certain areas that are more prone to making this noise than others?
I have only recently started doing my own work on my rig, so I am definitely not as mechanically inclined as most of you here. Thanks
