High Tech needs your help to fight breast cancer

Fellow 5th genners,
My shop has started a pumpkin carving contest that will help the Susan G Komen Foundation. I wanted to ask the part of the forum that I interact with the most. Long story short, High Tech will be donating $1 for every like we receive on each pumpkin carving. Contest will end this Wed at 9am.

I appreciate you and Okki asking. Unfortunately, there is no other way for us to keep track of the 'likes'. One other way to contribute to this great foundation is to help out Adio3x and his fundraiser. I think you can purchase raffle tickets through him and his group.
 
I'm guessing this was supposed to be a joke, if so, then it was funny. If not, follow Qjake's recommendation or Philsey, whichever you choose.

I'm thinking the guys over at High-Tech are not only automotive experts but gourd carving experts as well! If you haven't checked them out on Facebook yet it's worth a look and a like for a great cause!!

I have a 5th gen and have made some nice friends from this particular part of the forum. I have spent weekends with some of them and I hope that I have helped some others with their trucks, personally. This is mainly why I posted in this forum and on our Sponsor Thread.

1) Never disagreed with you.
2) Never called you a name.

3) My challenge stands. Lets put this anger against Susan G Komen to good use. Find a fellow brethren in need and we can work together to help them out.

Anyone find it funny that a magazine dedicated to fashion, hair, beauty supplies, and celebrity gossip are Ryan's single source?

@Ryan - Good for you on donating through CFC. When I was in the military that was a "must do" rather than a voluntary measure toward charity. Chuck Palahniuk once responded to a review of one of his books in this way: "It’s easy to attack and destroy an act of creation. It’s a lot more difficult to perform one." In other words, go do something useful or STFU.
 
It looks like I'm a little late to the shoot out between Lima and Ryan. I definitely didn't know this thread was going to go that way. Thanks to the guys that have my back. But Ryan did have some good points but maybe didn't go about it in the most polite way.

So, I'm going to do something with Ryan's frustration at Susan G Komen's Foundation. We will continue our Facebook pumpkin contest as scheduled. I can't/shouldn't change who we give to in the middle of the contest.

In the very near future, High Tech will have another fundraiser to help someone in the community out. It won't necessarily be for colon cancer (which Ryan is really fond of). But, we will search our local community for a family with a child in need. Maybe that child is battling their own form of cancer, or lukemia, or maybe they lost their house to a fire. Anyway, I will see that we (High Tech and T4R) do something that will matter to just one family or child.

If anyone has a suggestion to who we should do this for, I'm open.
