High Tech Thanks

I'm writing this post is to give some props to High Tech for taking care of me during a recent shock install that did not go as smoothly as planned (no fault of their own).

I took my 2011 SR5 4X4 to High Tech based on the great reviews and recommendations from this forum. The install was pretty simple, 4 Bilstein 5100s (Fronts at 1.75") with a set of 1" rear cornfed spacers.

The big problem they encountered was that my front right shock assembly was aftermarket and not stock from the previous owner/dealership that replaced the shock before I purchased the truck. One advantage of taking your truck to a place like High Tech is that they happen to have 2011 SR5 suspensions laying around due to the high volume of trucks that they lift. So thankfully they were able to pilfer the parts needed to get my truck's suspension back to stock so that the Bilstein shocks could be installed properly. One of the rear shocks I purchased on Amazon didn't include the hardware but they were able to get a new one overnighted at a minimal additional charge all things considered.

They also took the extra time to try and get it as level as possible considering I didn't install coilovers.

Overall I was very happy with the service and I received some good feedback from Scott@Hightech who performed the work.

I'll certainly be returning for any future maintenance needs. Thanks! :dancin:

I too am glad we were able to get it all straightened out quickly and without adding a ton of cost. If theres anything else I can do you know where to call.

Thanks, Scott
