Highway Miles and All Terrains

I ran Firestones in P285/70-17. GREAT tire overall, but I won't buy again because at 25,000 miles they were already down to 5/32nds, and because they were too mild and nearly got me stuck in the parking lot of an off-road park before I even unloaded the truck. Embarrassing.

My vote is Hercules Terra Trac ATII. It's made in USA, has fantastic new technology, and is priced well.

Having said that, Discount Tire Direct is doing an AWESOME sale on the Cooper AT3 right now.

Hercules has 60k, Toyo at 65k, Firestone 50k for warranties. Firestone is probably the mildest tread pattern of the three.

Looks like all three are in the same price bracket, so I would look through reviews on different sites and make your choice!

I run BFG A/Ts, I run load range E, overkill but I tow a lot and I get 75K miles out of my last set. They still had about 30-40% left when I replaced them, they were just starting to crack and look old so I replaced them. They are expensive but definitely worth every single penny!

ive got atleast 50k on my current AT's, and they are still about 65% tread.
theyre 10+ years old, and starting to show some cracks.





someone mentioned toyos. the only way id run toyos, is if they were on the rig when i bought it. those tires are shit. ive seen more failed toyos than all other tires combined.

Exactly, it made the truck look older, and its our company "show truck" so I replaced them and sold the used set for $500 in about 1 hour on craigslist lol

I have Cooper AT3s on my 4Runner and love em.

I had Destination ATs on my old Wrangler TJ. Loved those too.

Both have been good for me. Got a much better deal on the Coopers this time around.

Oh, and the Coopers are made in America. Bonus points.
