Currently in a part of Asia that I’ll leave undisclosed. Hilux Surfs all over the street in all trim levels. I told the guys here that people stateside would spend thousands to swap in a 1KZ in place of a 5VZ and they just laughed. I’m looking for a dealer with a 2001 1KD Surf to take a spin in. The 2L diesels are reserved for Hilux pickups with cows and goats in the bed. The 1KZ is a common swap for those trucks.
