Hissing Noise From Belts After Off Roading

Hey everyone, been a while since I've posted, but I have a question for you. I recently went off road in my 07 V-6 4WD and got stuck in the mud. Now there is a hissing noise coming from the belts. I sprayed as much mud off with the hose as I could, but it doesn't seem to help. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

My quick guess would be mud/water in the idler bearings or alternator.

Change your belt and stay out if the mud.

That's what I was thinking. Should it come out naturally, or am I going to have to replace something? I am way too OCD to be getting my 4Runner muddy any more.
