I was wondering if you can provide more feedback in regards to the swagman. I am debating in purchasing one for myself on my 2004 4runner and would like your input such as the pros and cons. Right now it is on sale on amazon for $117. Was thinking about getting the XTC2 as well. Also, does yours come with a 2 inch reciever adapter or is it striaght 2 inch into the hitch?

Hands down the best hitch mount bike rack is 1 Up USA. Made in America. Quality machined aluminum. Simple, light and should last forever. Not cheap but worth it. I get people asking me about mine all the time.

Wow that 1 Up USA Rack looks great. I really like the way it will fold up to go in the trunk or cargo area.

I already bought a KUAT NV, which is nice cause it includes a bike locking system...but if I would have seen the 1 Up USA Rack earlier it might have been my first choice...the user reviews are the best of any rack i've researched!!

EDIT: I might have spoke too soon. It seems like the 1 Up USA can only carry a max of 3 bikes, whereas the KUAT with add-on carries 4. Max load of 3 bikes would be a deal-breaker for me.

I'm completely happy with my KUAT NV. I haven't had it long but it's already been well used, to include a few long road trips and off road driving during race support on the Kokopelli. I love the hitch interface. Solid. Haven't used the built in maintenance stand but it's there if we ever need it.

I just finished installing the Thule 958 Parkway 2-Bike. It ended up being about $165 (from Amazon) for the rack and the thule locking mechanism (rack alone was $126). I am still a beginner so this works great for me plus i can have this bad boy on and still close the garage, so it worked out perfectly.

i've had the yakima swingdaddy for about 2-3 years. fits well. very sturdy. there might be a lil bit of movement when driving as with most bike racks, but only .5-1 inch i think.
