Adding My build thread. Only been 10 years on the forum. SO its time.

Bought the 4Runner brand new in Arizona with 27 miles on it.



I slowly watched others build up their 4Runners and paid attention to what worked and what did not work.

Then I started messing with the radio. What a pain in the butt.

But I went through with it anyway.

Next I added the 2 of the Hella Horns.



Then took the bikes on a trip to the Dragon!

Next I replaced the brakes and rotors



And decided to plasti-Dip my rims.

Do your tires rub quite a bit with that setup?

Then a relative died and i came across a bunch of money...

Only kidding. I actually just decided to start spending my money on my 4Runner because it was needing some TLC.

So i found some 06 tail lights and head lights and decided to try a Satoshi grill And added two more Hella horns.

I had to trim away a lot of the bumper and it looks like crud, but I will eventually put some metal on the front, so i am not too worried about it.

I added the K&N and Gibson exhaust soon after the satoshi and then things really picked up with the Build

So, I next removed the Xreas and Corn fed and decided to go WAY OVERBOARD and put an Icon suspension on. That was an adventure.

I also added the Spider Trax spacers as well.

At this point i was running a 255/75 R 17 tire i think.

I then started adding Rigid lights and mounts.

Up Next are the Doug Thorley Headers. I just got them today, so it will be a few weeks before i can get them in.

Plus I am waiting on someone else on here to put them in first so I can see what they did.

Hey you got in my build... only kidding. I did not even see your post.

To answer your question,with the corn fed there was no rub running the 255s. I pulled my trim up a little and re-attached the trim in the front. Added the Spider Trax as well.

When i ditched the Xreas and Corn fed i put the Icon stage 2 on and i had a little rubbing in the front with the 285s, but i removed the front mud flaps and solved that issue.

Just added a third Rigid light.

30 inch light bar in the lower grill.

Moved my switches all to the center console.










Nice and hidden in the lower bumper.

Now for my next trick, I will need a welder and some DT headers.

these things showed up a few weeks ago, just sitting collecting dust... ugh....


Been watching T-Man with his new headers and cannot stand it. I want to put these on over the weekend. But i am going to have to wait a bit.
