I'm about to fabricate my own swing out tire carrier and was wondering if that pull-pin latch design on yours works good? Have you had any issues with it or is it solid?

Also did a little trail riding, holding the camera out the sunroof.

Its pretty solid. I used the hitch/shackle to pull an L2000 series Kubota tractor out of the mud last weekend. (the tractor was spinning its wheels, otherwise i would not have moved the tractor at all)

I may one day end up chopping this mount up and welding it directly to the bumper. Someone on this forum made a tire carrier for their bumper and just cut holes in the plastic bumper for the mounts.... i will see if i can find his post.

Not sure why, but something about the white letters on the outside screams Smokey and the Bandit to me. Good movie, just always hated that car. Maybe its a Pontiac thing.

Guess i need to turn them around so the white letter show and then airbrush by name under my window too. LOL Then we can be friends.
