Took me some brain power to figure out how to lift it on top.
(tied it to the ceiling, drove into the garage and lowered it on the 4Runner.

I will get better pics tomorrow. My arse is worn out, that feeling like you just wrestled a gorilla and lost.

I used part of the box for protection to slide it up and then put the feet on. A little too late I know.

I thought about that.... but my 4Runner is so beat up, I just said to myself the heck with it and prayed that i did not knock out any windows or my windshield.

Another project coming - Front Bumper Install.

Bought an RPMFAB bumper on Black Friday - Mainly because there are not that many running around.

Gen 4 Toyota 4Runner Front Bumper

If anyone has any experience with these let me know.

Only kidding.... I need to get my silly DT headers installed... That 4000 page long thread from Jason B is PAINFULLY TOO LONG to read, but it has SO many good tips and ideas....

The rpm fab front bumper is a fairly straightforward install, and I imagine it will be even easier for you because there's no blinkers to wire into the bumper and you don't have to deal with the 03-05 grill piece either. So really the hardest part should be lining the bolts up which is a PITA if you're trying to do it with only 2 guys, so get 3 and it will be easy.

Added this headache to my build last night...
From what i can tell no one had any tips or build threads for 4th gens.

What a pain in the..... ARB Shields, oh and the kit does not fit as the website says. But I MADE IT FIT!
Had to drill some new holes, get longer bolts/spacers and the install had bolts in some of the most hard to reach places.

I know they are not the toughest out there, but i wanted to try something different.

Well, I finally got the bumper installed and then RPMFAB decided to go out of business... oh well. I am happy with the bumper, too bad they closed their doors. I was getting the funds ready to buy one of their rear bumpers, which were freaking awesome!
