well i also have a grill guard, will the grill guard get in the way of the skid plate?

I have no idea about that. It depends on where the grill guard is mounted.

i have the safari light bar on the front, and i couldnt install the skid plate....if your putting on a grill guard, i wouldnt bother messin with the skid plate as you probly wont see it by the time the guard it on.
