Holes in the roof

Wanted to see if any of you might have had to replace the nylon screw grommets that plug the rectangular holes that are fore and aft of the roof rack rails right under the plastic clips at each end. Toyota no longer makes the part. Best I can tell, the hole is 9x11mm. If anyone found a solution other than a glop of silicone, let me know. Thanks!

If you can't get off a junk truck, you could try some lap sealant or I'd just put aluminum tape on it and put the cap back on.

You should call the parts department at Manhattan Beach Toyota (in Manhattan Beach CA). They ordered me those on accident, when I needed something different. They may still have them in stock.

I am preparing to put a factory roof rack on that I got from a junkyard...I pulled multiple sets of these plugs from a couple of different runners...
