Saturday the 13th would work for me. Sundays are always tough with work early Monday morning.

I'm down to go Saturday, but not Sunday.
infamous, let's do a meet and greet another weekend if possible. That way more people can come as I'm wheeling this Saturday. I could be into the next weekend and can try to help with the body lift.

Yes! Glad I caught sight of this in time. I've been looking for a Bay Area meet up. I'm in for Saturday. Where would we meet exactly? I've never been down to hollister hills (read and seen pictures is about it). I know it's south of Gilroy, but is there a specific spot y'all meet up at? Also don't have a compressor to air back up yet (it's on the list), so if anyone could help out or name a gas station close by to air back up I'm game. Last but not least, do I need skids? Should have my snatch strap the end of this week, so I guess at least I have that and shackles.

Hey there.
No need for a compressor as they have air tanks at the front gate when you leave. Have the snatch strap with you for sure. Not sure where you live by I can meet you in Morgan hill if you want. You can just follow me out there. You don't need skids or bumpers or sliders or anything else. There is everything from fire roads to competition buggie courses and everything in between. Something for everyone. I have straps and a winch if you get stuck and can help you out.
Its $5 to get in so don't forget that.
If you want to meet then head down, there is a Safeway in Morgan hill off Tennant.

Cool, I'll meet you there, that makes it easy. Snatch strap will be here Wednesday along with viair 450P. I just went ahead and ordered it since I'm going to the Pismo Jamboree next weekend too so having air on hand will be nice. Beyond forest service roads this is my first off roading trip and I just did lift wheels and tires a week and a half ago so I'm excited to see how it performs since in road it's already so much better than stock. And ready or learn a thing or too as well.
