Just finished doing my upper and lower ball joints and inner and outer tie rod ends. Went and got a front end alignment. I don't ever remember it steering that good. I suppose it just gradually got worse in 235k and I just didn't notice it. Do ya think Tom.

Amazing how much it tightens them up. I just did the control arms, center link and tie rod ends on my 740i. Super, super tight now.

I did the same thing to mine last week. Definitely tighter steering now. I like it. It also let me find that the passenger CV axle inner boot is leaking. Will be changing that next month. The driver's side already had a new cv axle installed when I got it.

Of all the steering replacement pieces for me, the new ITRs made the biggest difference for me.

The steering rack bushings are calling my name sometime before Labor Day.

Yea and I'm sure it was a pain in the you know what!
Took me close to 3 hours on the first side and only 45 minutes on the second. Amazing what I learned on the first side. Makes me want to do it again to see if I could do it faster ------- "NOT"
