Homelink trouble

Dang , I had a new garage door opener installed today and can't get my Homelink to work. It worked with the other door opener although it was a trick to get it to work. I tried MANY times following the manual and still nothing. Ticking me off ...lol.

Anyone know a different trick ?

I'm in the same boat, I just bought a new craftsman rolling code opener and I just can't get it to program. I followed the instructions 8 times and tried about 5 other combinations and nothing works. A friend said he had the same problem and fiqured it out. So he's coming by this weekend to program it for me. If it works I'll let you know.

Thanks , Mine is a liftmaster , I don't think its rolling code but will try it again.

Are you hitting the button on the garage door motor itself? Then you have like 10 seconds to try to program your car....

Took me a couple times to get mine.

It was a rolling code , got it on the first try....yippee
