Hood graphics on my new orp

Seen a few vehicles with vinyl wraps lately. I am fond of the new land rover defender hood with the black accents. Having said that, i tried to mimic their look on my hood with vinyl. What do you think? Leave it on or take it off?

I vote "take it off".

One problem I see with that idea is if you ever get tired of the pattern and that black vinyl is on there for a while, the paint around it won't look the same as underneath if you decide to change it.

not a big fan of the hood wraps, but IMHO, that looks good, its not like everyone else. I say keep it, BUT, our opinion shouldnt matter, its YOUR rig YOU make the payments, do as YOU like.

Sets it apart from from others 4runners. Not cookie cutter with bumper A B or C, sliders A B or C, roof rack A B or C.
Looks better than the goofy (in my opinion) graphic my Wife put on the hood of her pickup.
But I'm just as guilty. I finally addressed the dent that's been in the bed of my pickup since before I got it from my Grandpa 35 years ago.

for the haters out there I want my truck less cookie cutter and uniquely mine so if it takes mix and match from different vendors go for it :gun4:

Its not for me but as others said - who cares what we think!

I also like the new defenders and along with the new bronco and what ever is released from Toyota will be on the potential list once the 4runners are worth replacing ( at the mileage I put on I won't ever wear them out)

No for me. Maybe if it followed the hood lines from the headlights back or something but what’s there looks out of place to me.

Not a fan of any vinyl on the hood but I appreciate the break from all the silver.

Plus, it makes a good standing table for a social-distanced lunch date.

I say drive around with it for at least two weeks before you decide whether you personally like it or hate it. Like others have said, it's your rig!

I appreciate the approach. Agree with others to do what you like. Definitely opening up more possibilities beside the entire hood or hood scoop.

In general, there types of hood decals are there for a reason - in this case to reduce glare, but these two decals on the sides of the hood don't do that.

But hey, we don't have to look at it, you do - and if you like them, then leave them.
