Somebody on here mentioned a hood light, which got me wanting one (see how evil this forum is?). So I checked with local Toyota, who said to call local Lexus parts - neither has heard of a hood light. I guess nothing ever goes wrong in the engine compartment - so why be a lookin!?
Then I checked with 3 auto parts stores. Then Radio Shack. Came up MT handed. No one really had a good switch for it (except could order one thru NAPA).
This seems like a pretty obvious & simple thing, but does no one carry an off-the-shelf hood light assembly?
I even thought of something perhaps with a mercury switch . . .
Ideas (constructive ones hopefully)?
