The hood deflector comes as 2 packages, mine was tape together. The actual deflector is
PU50089100.
the clips etc are in a separate bag part number:
PU500-89100.

Yes, thats the one. It has 8 attachment points. 4 in the centre over the Toyota emblem. The 2 on each wing are (4 in total) the ones that bothered me, assuming I had their pieces together properly. I was concerned even with the tape provided that in time vibration would wear out the tape and start on the paint. Maybe I am being too fussy.

It's most likely late, but I attached an installation instructions of hood deflector for 2010 to present 4Runner. I wish this will be a help to other 2010-date 4Runner owners.

i bought a hood deflector for my 2011 4Runner (Trail Edition) from Toyota dealership in Edmonton, AB., but it did not come with the installation instruction. so i phoned up the dealer and asked him to provide me a printout. i got the copy and i wish to share this with other 2010-present 4Runner owners who bought a hood deflector without the installation instruction. please see the attached.
