Reading Doctor's reports out of China, they are treating patients with high dose Intravenous Vit-C. also suggesting 2,000 mg of Vit C for general precaution. Regular OTC oral vit-C ? suggest you go with Liposomal vit-C, is is Fat based and goes into your blood system. closest thing to intravenous.

Vit C is not a fat soluble vitamin...please stop spreading mis-information

Yes people are getting sick. Yes it’s really an unfortunate situation.

However reality doesn’t seem to match the doom and gloom shills.

Case in point, Pelosi’s political stunt to kill the $1T+ coronavirus aid package. If the situation was that dire she wouldn’t dare such a thing, or there would be mutiny against her. Instead, crickets except hey stocks are crashing again.

Have you read the package or just reading headlines? The aid does barely anything to lower income and laid off citizens and gives ANONYMOUS bailout packages to corporations. Kill? No, revise to help the working class yes.

Among other items, Pelosi's 1400+ page proposal includes:
- extension of nonimmigrant visas (for permanent residents?)
- student loan relief
- tighter emissions standards for airlines
- same day voter registration
- enhancing union collective bargaining power
- bailout for the post office
- requirements for corporate racial diversity data reporting
- abortion money for Planned Parenthood

Good concepts that will save lives /s

By the time our "leaders" agree to a terrible bill this whole thing will be over and the money will come in way too late.

Plus... Ahem... Who is going to pay this? Eh, let's just kick the can down the road again and make it the next person's issue... Not saying to NOT do it, but creating $1,000,000,000,000 in a system that is already higher than that negative doesn't seem like the best move. But I'll take more fake money. Not like the amount I would get would even equal one monthly mortgage payment here in northern CA.

What's another 2 trillion when your 20 trill in the hole already? How else can the ruling class build wealth for themselves?

That one time 1000 dollar check is really going to help all those small businesses and restaurants Gavin's shutdown is going to kill off.

Meanwhile people are wandering around on beaches and in parks, congregating, despite the unenforceable "shelter at home" edict.

Majority wins common sense looses. Instead of the citizens electing the politicians the politicians select the electorate by creating wedge issues and convincing the people to vote against their own interest along party lines. People within the same Scio economic status tend to have similar issues regardless of political belief. We the people are to blame as well.
Case and point; covid 19 and it's effects are Apolitical yet nevertheless political.

Perfect play for the Democrats. Hold the money and watch the economy tank, or inject money for their own plans. It's a win win for the Democrats.
With that said, I am a Union employee and I make more than the 75K bailout cutoff. I don't need it as we are essential business and I am continuing to work.

Under "Unions"
• Nullifies the White House executive orders on federal collective bargaining and codifies taxpayer-funded union official time.
• Requires a labor union representative on every airline’s board of directors.
• Multiemployer pension bailout lacking needed reforms.
• Permanently raises the minimum wage to $15 for any business that receives federal aid for COVID-19.
• Cancels all debt owed by the U.S. Postal Service to the Treasury.
Under the heading “Green New Deal priorities”:
• Requires all airlines that receive assistance to offset carbon emissions for domestic flights by 2025.
• Includes a $1 billion “cash for clunkers” airplane program where the Transportation Department buys fuel-inefficient planes from airlines in exchange for agreeing to buy new ones.
• Includes expansive new tax-credit for solar and wind energy.

Under “Student Loan Forgiveness”:
• $10,000 blanket loan forgiveness.
Under “Federalizing Elections”:
• Mandates how states must run elections, including the nationalization of ballot harvesting, requiring early voting, same day registration, and no-excuse vote by mail.
• Puts states at risk of costly litigation if they are unable to implement these stringent mandates ahead of the 2020 election.

Under “Immigration Provisions”:
• Requires the Homeland Security Department to automatically extend visas and work authorizations expiring within the next year, including those with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals and Temporary Protected Status, for an amount of time equal to their prior visa, authorization or status.
• Limits Customs and Border Patrol’s ability to shutdown processing centers if there is a health crisis on the border and requires CBP to assure the timely adjudication of asylums applications.
• Would allow certain funding to go to sanctuary cities.

Under “Overreaching Mandates on Businesses”:
• Permanent changes to who can serve on corporate boards of directors for companies that receive assistance for payroll and operating costs.
• Mandatory disclosure on supply chain management.
• Requires board diversity disclosure for all publicly traded companies.
• Ban on all federal rulemaking including non-COVID 19 proposals (extends 30 days after emergency) “in an attempt to delay the current administration from promulgating actions House Democrats disagree with.”

Under “New Permanent Mandates”:
• Virtually rewrites the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program policy with no reference to COVID-19 and permanently disallows rulemaking pertaining to work requirements and eligibility.
• Permanent expansion of Obamacare entitlement, “putting the American taxpayer on the hook for endless and unchecked health insurance spending and would remove all incentives for insurers to reduce the cost of health insurance.”

RoyBell, you’re quoting text. What are the sources?
I’ve been trying to find the text of the Democratic and Republican proposals to compare, and I can’t. Please provide a link if you have them. Thx.

Text I quoted above came from here:
Nancy Pelosi coronavirus stimulus package 'socialist wish list' detailed by GOP - Washington Times

Actual bill if you have time to read 6000 pages:
https://apps.npr.org/documents/document.html?id=6817883-FINAL-HOUSE-BILL

Here is verbage of how the plans differ. I don't know how accurate it is because I haven't spent much time on it:

Just, please people. Make sure you wash your hands continuously, wear your latex gloves as you pump your gas, wear your N95 mask as you walk down the toilet paper aisle in Walmart. Make sure you wipe down your shopping cart, and the gas pump handle. Make sure you do all these things to protect yourself as you buy your 3 cartons of cigarettes and beer. As you buy up all the Little Debbie snack cakes. Make sure you continue to do all the safety measures as you continue to do the things in your life that threaten your health anyway.

Meanwhile, I ( as a respiratory therapist on the front lines of this epidemic ) will continue to do my best to save your sorry a$$ while searching for a napkin to cover my face because you bought up all the N95 masks. Non compliance with advice of healthcare officials is blatant disregard for the safety of those who put their own lives in jepardy every long 12 hr shift.

I can only fathom your frustration. Thankyou for helping those that need it, inspite of the dangers to your self and your family. You are to be commended. There was a lack of advice in the early days of the pandemic with no clear directions and as a result a mass histeria, thus people did what they thought was right. Seems the managements at the highest levels in private and public institutions was asleep at the wheel while the regular Joe was looking at what was happening in China and started to fend for themselves. People are finally now starting to wrap their heads around the epidemic and being generous.

A surgeon friend of mine in Germany went to the local Shell station and asked them for a box of their "diesel gloves" - those very loose saran wrap type gloves for pumping diesel. She is using those gloves for non-critical activities.

Only thing keeping this country from the dark ages is the truckers. Be a shame if they stopped running until the political class removes their heads from their posterior.

Some of the same politicians that crashed retirement accounts back in 2008 are doing it again in 2020.

It seems that *some* of them have learned a lesson. Hence the $2T 1400 page House bill with lots of detail, controls, stipulations. And lots of extra junk that will be negotiated out. It’s politics. They’ll hammer out a deal, hopefully soon.

If the $ limits are true I won't get a penny. Wish it would factor in cost of living but oh well. Unless it does I don't pay much attention to these types of things. I just hear about free money.
