Hopefully someone can answer this question soon before I go to the Welder.

I am about go to the welder to have my sliders welded on but when I was unscrewing my side steps I noticed some part where I believe the sliders get welded on.

This is the link the guy from BAMF sent me for directions on how to weld these and that part is obviously not there and I want to know how much of a complication this is.

I need a solution if anyone can help. The place I'm getting them welded on is a 4x4 shop so I assume they will have some idea but these sliders are stressing me out. Just want to get them on.

If you do in fact have the XREAS shocks removed then yes you can remove this piece, very east, 3 bolts. If you have XREAS shocks, do not touch this. That part is the fluid transfer between the shocks

I'm so happy I didn't have XREAS. It seems like a big PITA.

yeah since you switched to the radflo setup you can remove all the old xreas hydraulic lines as well as the two control units (whats in your picture). an as someone else mentioned trash it because its useless now.
