How a Torsen Diff works

Found this on the good ole' interweb... really cool animations! Since some of us have Torsens I figured there would be some interested folks.

The concept is very similar to how our Torsen T3 units work, the only thing I would add is that the T3's actually have a couple small friction clutches to assist in arresting the planetary gearset. This is probably because the T3 is meant for center differentials in transfercases where as the video is showing one that would be more at home in a regular differential like a T1 or T2.
