i would like to know how big of a tire i can go after i put my 2.5 daystar spacer lift on, i still have stock shocks and coils i believe. i do have a 99 so i could possibly have the tall springs but how would i know for sure? i've heard that 265/75/16 is what i should get but i know some people are running 285/70/16 or even 285/75/16. so please give me your imput oh experienced ones.
how big can i go with 2.5 spacer lift and stock shocks?

Toyo is the only company I know of that makes a 285/70/16 (32x11) which is just wider than a 265/75/16 (32x10). 285/75/16s (33x11) or 255/85/16 (33.5x10) will fit with minimal rubbing if you trim the bumper skirt and plastic wheel well liner, and pound the pinch weld on the firewall flat. Please search 1st next time, this is covered everyday.

side question....Brian, where did you get your tires? I'm wanting some tall skinnies and loved my Bighorns on the cruiser. I'm sure I'll love'em on the 4runner too.

Yeah I really love them on the 4runner! I got them on ebay for ~$650 shipped for 4 IIRC. I think the seller was Mac's Tire Bin.

u probally been asked so many times already..but what size wheel spacers u running all around? i've seen some 255/85's around here, but some of them look wayyy to small or skinny or tucked in..ur set up is clean and good though.

Thanks! My wheels are 4" BS so they are pushed ~.5" farther out than stock. I'm also running 1" wheel spacers in the front only (so the wheels clear the brakes and also to widen the stance to help lower my center of gravity).
Is there someone or somewhere on the forum that shows what part of the bumper skirt & the plastic wheel well liner need to be trimmed up in order to fit the 285/75's in w/out rubbing?! Also, where is the pinch weld on the firewall that needs to be pounded flat?
Sorry for all the stupid questions, but since I'm not home with my T4R I'm kind of looking in the dark on this one right now.

Just trim here like I did. I still get a little scrub every now and again daily driving. Usually when turning at speed into drives with a rise or dip.
Not sure about the front since I removed the flares and cut the lower valance.
