How Did You Decide to Buy a 4runner?

2011 you could get limited without Nav, for 2012 they give you no option. running boards are standard, cai you'd have to order from the parts department as it's not available in the options section, plain trd filter is.

I wish there was somthing in between the SR5 upgrade and the Limited that wasnt the trail. Our family will never use the trail for what it was built for but we want a few more luxuries than the SR5 upgrade has, and the price jump between them is large.

The jump of almost 7grand I think is a huge jump it would be nice to have something in between at like 45 that isn't the trail.

Is X-reas, climate control, jbl and the extras of the limited worth it? I could just go with the Upgrade.

When we were looking it was the ability to have an all black interior that was the most attractive feature only available in the limited. But damn the prices are high where you are we got the 2011 limited with navi and everything else for right at 40k only option we didn't get is the third row since we will never have a use for it.

I chose the 4Runner, as I had been driving a Toyota already; an '06 Toyota Tundra, Limited, 4x4 w/TRD Off Road Package. It was a great truck. I wanted an SUV, and getting a 4Runner was a no brainer for me!! I had not considered anything else. (Granted I did vacillate between getting another Tundra or the 4Runner.) I LOVE Toyota's reliability. I LOVE everything that the Trail Edition has on it, so that is what I bought. I couldn't BE happier!

The prices in Canada are higher as they load them up. There is no choices, whether you want 3rd row seats/sliding tray/Nav.

All limiteds come with 3rd row seats, running boards, xreas, nav, etc. You can't add or subtract any of it.

Just got a call from the dealer, there's only 1 2012 Shoreline Blue Limited in all of BC right now and they are seeing if the other dealer will release it.

How I decided: Weekend prior, wife asked, "Are you thinking about getting a new vehicle?" I wonder what gave her that idea since I was browsing the 4Runner via computer from home. So I went to the dealership, they did not have the color I wanted. So I went to another dealership, and bought the 4Runner, while trading in my reliable 2004 Nissan Maxima SE Automatic. The Max was awesome! It was time to upgrade space with a boy in the oven, along with upholding my love for reliability(Honda, Toyota, Nissan).

I paid 48000 including the 1500 delivery (46500 if you take away delivery). I used the carcostcanada.com invoice pricing for my negotiations. Paid 5% above invoice price. I'm pretty happy with how everything went.

Just had a baby 3 months ago and my wife had been hauling the baby and baby gear around in our Prius. One night at work I saw a really bad car accident in which a drunk driver struck another compact car at approximately 120 mph and almost split the car in half length wise. After I saw that I decided my family needed a larger (and safer) vehicle with more cargo space for all the additional baby gear (strollers, etc.).

Looked at every new SUV on the market (under $40k) and I narrowed it down to the Nissan Pathfinder and the T4R. Eventually went with the T4R because I preferred the look of the exterior and wanted to buy another Toyota (we have been very happy with our Prius). Couldn't be happier with the choice after 3 weeks of owning the T4R.

Yes it's possible, but I'd rather take my chances with the T4R (truck frame) than the Prius (compact car frame).

The Prius is my daily driver now. I'd highly recommend one. Comfortable, quiet, and almost 50 mpg is great for my 60 mile daily round trip commute to/from work. In the 60k miles we have put on our 2008, it has needed only minimal preventative maintenance.

But like I said, safety wise, I'd much rather have my family driving around in the T4R. My little head doesn't ride in the Prius anymore. Maybe I'm just paranoid but oh well.
